Giving on Helpr
You can give to verified churches as tithing, offering, faith seed, special offering, general donation, special-event giving and — where approved by Helpr — building fund, missions and evangelism, or welfare and benevolence.
Where your money goes
Payments are processed by Flutterwave and settle to the church's own bank account registered with Flutterwave as a payout subaccount. Helpr does not receive church donations into its own account.
Fees
Helpr does not charge a platform commission. Flutterwave applies its standard processing fees according to the payment method; these may be deducted before settlement to the church.
Receipts
A receipt is issued only after Helpr confirms with Flutterwave that your payment succeeded for the correct amount, currency and church. Helpr receipts confirm your gift; they are not tax certificates, and Helpr makes no claim about tax deductibility.
Anonymous giving
You may hide your name from public displays. Your details are still shared with Flutterwave and with the church's authorised finance team as required for records and the law.
Refunds
Contact the church first. Refunds are requested by the church's authorised finance staff, approved by Helpr finance and executed by Flutterwave. A gift is shown as refunded only after Flutterwave confirms it.
